After college, Dr. Carriere spent six years working in the family Home Furnishing Business, and providing for his growing family. Inspired to make a difference, he made a major career change, and embarked on a career in medicine. Dr. Carriere graduated with honors and special recognition for service to the community from Tulane Medical School and did his residency in family practice at the University of Florida, in Jacksonville.
During medical school, Dr. Carriere became interested in the treatment of alcohol and drug addictions. He pursued this interest as a part of his medical practice and became the medical director of one of the first accredited alcoholism treatment programs in Florida; subsequently he led the effort to develop three free-standing addiction treatment hospitals in Florida.
His early family business experience combined with a passion for family medicine gave him a rather unique perception of the healthcare industry. He began practice in 1975, and built a solo practice into a 45 provider, eight location, primary care group. Family Care Partners has won national awards for implementation and utilization of their comprehensive Electronic Health Records (EHR) and is recognized locally as a leader in providing high quality, cost effective primary care.
Dr. Carriere's vision and his recognition of the value and potential of electronic patient care data and collaboration between stakeholders in the improvement of the quality and efficiency in patient care has led to a leadership role in the development of Healthcare efficiencies such as NEFRHO (the North East Florida Regional Health Organization).

Dr. Sessions has been in practice since 1981 after serving in the Navy, and joined Family Care Partners in 2014. He graduated with his Medical Degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1974.
Dr. Sessions is a member of the Clay County Medical Society.
The most important things that he wants to convey to his patients are honesty, the use of common sense, and limit self-abuse.
Dr. Sessions’ hobbies include enjoying watching Baseball and Football, but above all his favorite is going the movies with his lovely wife.

A native of Jacksonville (Orange Park), Dr. Hunt received his M.D. at Nova Southeastern University, and completed his residency at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in New York City (Brooklyn).
When asked what brought him to the healthcare path, he replied, "As a kindergartener, Dr. Hunt already knew he would either be an investigator for the F.B.I., or a medical doctor. In short, solving puzzles and helping people out." Dr. Hunt is keenly aware that one of the best skills is actively listening to his patient's concerns & issues, just as properly diagnosing them.
When not in the office, you can probably find Dr. Hunt enjoying the discovery of both new cultures and their foods, either locally or while traveling both in and out of state, and to other countries. Dr. Hunt's passion is with his local church, and he appreciates a congregation that cares for their community.

Dr. Sykes has been practicing medicine for over 40 years, graduating in 1980 from Meharry Medical College located in Nashville Tennessee.
When asked what brought him down the path of medicine his response was: “I’ve always been interested in science since early childhood. Fascinated by the creatures of the Earth and started viewing them with my first microscope at around the age of 6.”
He believes that his patients feel that he is caring, personal, willing to get to the bottom of the problem presented, and that he performs very detailed and comprehensive evaluations.
What excites him about his work is being able to serve the public and especially the neighborhood he grew up in, being born and raised right here on Jacksonville’s Northside. He also enjoys being a mentor for the young and helping to bridge the care gap in the African American community.
When he isn’t working you can find him spending time with his family, fishing, and enjoying the occasional TV show. He also loves eating out at a good restaurant! His volunteering passions are church wellness programs. He is also the team physician for Ribault High School.
When asked to define “Awesome Care” he says: “Awesome Care, to me, means taking care of person as a whole, as well as the extended family. Teaching the basics on a multitude of medical problems to the patient, and coming up with attainable treatment goals. Dr. Kedra Fields Williams is a Jacksonville native who felt strongly about returning to the area where she was born and raised. After undergraduate work at FSU, she headed south to attend medical school at Ross University in the Caribbean.
Although her first love in medicine was pediatrics, she was urged during medical school to pursue family practice because she was so good at working with adults. "Currently I enjoy working with adolescent and adult patients," she says. "I like to try and help parents encourage young adults to make a difference in their lives."
Married to her high school sweetheart, Ty, Dr. Fields Williams has a daughter and son who keep her busy. The family enjoys watching sports together, especially football and basketball, and of course spending time with extended family.

Dr. Saul has worked in healthcare for the past 36 years. He attended Ohio State University, graduating in 1980, and did his Residency at Shands and VA Hospitals in Gainesville FL in 1983.
When asked what brought his down the path of healthcare he said when he was 12 years old, his Aunt became extremely sick and was hospitalized for about a week. When she came home, so much better, he wished to be able to make sick people better so they could spend more time with their families.
He says his patients would say that he is a caring and compassionate person, and also a good friend. He’s enjoys listening intently while a patient explains their issue, then focusing on and figuring out the correct diagnosis, and supplying the best possible treatment for their condition.
Dr. Saul grew up in Western Ohio, and after Medical School moved to Florida. He practiced in Panama City FL for 26 years before coming to Jacksonville in 2018 as a refugee from Hurricane Michael. In his spare time he can be found with his wife, daughter, and grandsons at the park or Zoo. He and his wife also enjoy going to watch a movie, and watching football, both college and professional. He would find it hard to give up his wife, family, or medical career, also on a lighter note…his 23 year old Toyota Tacoma truck with 263,000 miles!

Dr. Ali Afshar, graduated from Ross University School of Medicine in 2010, he attended the University of Arizona – South Campus for his residency and completed that residency in 2014.
When asked what brought him down the path of medicine he says: “I always tell my patients that medicine chose me, I didn’t choose medicine. For it is through the practice of compassion, dignity, equanimity, and many other basic tenants of being human that make life worth living. Through life experiences, both personally and professionally, it has always been the strong bonds I have developed with my patients that has been a constant force drawing me back to doing something meaningful with my life, and that is practicing medicine.
Watching his patients overcome obstacles in their lives that allow them to get back on their feet and continue to live meaningful lives, is what most excites him about his work and the contributions he makes.
Dr. Afshar grew up in California and arrived in Jacksonville in 2016. He currently volunteers at the Way Free Clinic in Green Cove Springs, which offers, opportunities to those who lack medical insurance, and the financial means to otherwise obtain healthcare. He enjoys playing his guitar, and trying to figure out a new riff he hears from one of his favorite guitar players. He also enjoys practicing Hatha yoga several times a week. On Sundays he likes spending time with his two dogs, going for a hike, or to the beach. He says it would be impossible for him to give up his music/guitars, and his dogs, which keep him grounded.
He defines Awesome Care as, seeing patients regain hope when they’d felt like they’d lost it, and taking time to talk to my patients about prevention of disease in order to keep them off medication.

Dr. James Biggerstaff has been practicing medicine for over 45 years graduating in 1975 from Louisiana State University Medical School located in New Orleans. He then went on to complete his residency at the St. Vincent’s Medical Center-Jacksonville in 1978.
When asked what brought him down the path of medicine his response was: “It was my life long goal to be a physician. It was a good thing too, because when I came to do my residency in Jacksonville, I ended up marrying a Florida girl!” Dr. Biggerstaff grew up in Texas, then moved to the Jacksonville area in 1975 after completing Medical School.

Dr. Allen Okie has been in practice for 45 years, graduating in 1969 from Jefferson Medical College in 1969. He served his residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, and Allergy/Immunity Jefferson University, finishing in 1975.
The medical profession has provided a platform for Dr. Okie to help people, as well as presenting a continuous intellectual challenge to learn and explore. What most excites him about his work and the contribution he can make is the new developments in immunology, and the application of new technology which translates into improved health and quality of life.
Dr. Okie’s Dad was in the Marine Corps, so he lived in Camp Lejeune, NC and Quantico VA. He finished high school in Upper Darby, and moved to Jacksonville FL in 1989. When not working, you may find him enjoying the Florida sunshine with his family, in their yard or out on their boat. You’d find him hard pressed to give up the commitment he has to his family.
When asked to define “Awesome Care” he simply says: “Patient centric value-based care.”

Dr. Edwards-Crawford has dedicated 35+ years to working in medicine. She graduated from Jefferson Medical College in 1984, and completed her residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in 1987. Originally, she grew up in Queens, New York. During medical school she lived in Philadelphia and later moved to Montgomery, Alabama during her time in the military. In 2002 she came to Jacksonville to practice hospital medicine.
Her passion for medicine started early on in life at 8 years old when her mother gave her a microscope for Christmas, igniting her interest in biology. Later as a teenager, she learned about the horrors of the Tuskegee Syphilis experiments. “I felt that the only way to prevent such atrocities from recurring in the future was to increase the numbers of African Americans in medicine, and the health sciences” recalls Dr. Edwards-Crawford.
She works very hard to take the time to listen to her patients and be an advocate for their health. Helping patients learn to play an active role in their care is one of her primary missions. “I also love being part of a health care team that supports and nurtures each other. Providing good health care is a team effort.”
In her personal time she enjoys spending time with her husband and friends. During football season, you can find her in section 105 at Everbank Field, or playing guitar with her husband, who plays the drums. One of her favorite volunteer activities is to assist with voter registration. If you’re looking for a special treat as a gift, she loves chocolate. Dr. Edwards-Crawford is most fulfilled when she is able to help her patients become knowledgeable about their medical conditions so that they can make smart choices that promote healing and good health.

Dr. Sams has been working in healthcare for the last 35 years. He attended Tulane, graduating in 1977, and completed his Residency, also at Tulane in 1980.
When asked how he arrived at practicing medicine, he said, his heart was broken when he lost his first love. He felt he had nothing to live for, and his salvage was dedicating his life to medicine, to help others. He says, “ten years ago, God rewarded my by restoring my Love to me”.
He says that his patients would describe him as the best diagnostician in town. He is excited when being able make the diagnosis of a missed or esoteric problem.
Dr. Sams has a Military background including Fort Riley, Kansas, Dallas, Tokyo, Fort Jackson South Carolina, and Wheeling West Virginia. In his spare time can be found writing his book, fishing, or walking his three dogs Angel, Daisy, and Duke at the dog park. He has enjoyed volunteering with the School Board in the past, and likes teaching those eager to learn. When asked what it would be impossible for him to give up, he simply said; “My wife.”.

Shawna P. Hamilton, M.D. joined Family Care Partners in August 2009. She was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN. She received her B.A. in Chemistry from Vanderbilt University and went on to receive her medical degree from James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University. Dr. Hamilton completed her Pediatric Residency at the University of Florida program at Shands and Wolfson Children's Hospital. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has been in private practice for the past eight years here in Jacksonville, Florida before joining Family Care Partners.
Dr. Hamilton is an avid sports fan and also enjoys attending local music and theatre events. She loves spending time with her friends and family especially her lovely niece, Jamisen.

Dr. Susu Hankhin is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She has been practicing Pediatrics for nearly 30 years and has been with Family Care Partners since 2004. She is also a member of the Duval County Medical Group.
Dr. Hankhin graduated from the Institute of Medicine in Rangoon, Burma in 1984, and speaks Burmese fluently. She completed her residency training at Long Island College Hospital in New York in 1985. After completing her training she continued working at the Long Island College Hospital as a staff physician for several years before moving to Florida in 1997.

Anna Jung, M.D. grew up in Lawrenceville, GA and moved to Jacksonville in 2011 for her husband's job. Dr. Jung graduated from South University in 2001 as a Nurse Practitioner. She earned her medical degree at Medical College of Georgia in 2008, and completed her pediatric residency at Levine's Children Hospital of Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina in 2011.
When asked what path brought her to practicing medicine, she says she didn't always know she wanted to practice medicine, however she has always been passionate about children. She says her love for them is why she became a doctor! Dr. Jung is a member of the American Medical Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics. When not at work, you can usually find her spending time with her family. She says "Spending time with my husband and three kids. I don't care what we do, as long as it's together."
Dr. Jung says hopefully her patients say good things about her, and that she sincerely cares about them. Her goal is to provide comprehensive general pediatric care to all her patients and to be there for them when they need her. What most excites her about her work and the contribution she can make is that she gets to be a part of taking care of the next generation at their most vulnerable time. While also being able to help parents in their most important journey - Parenting!
She likes to volunteer at church, and does it as much as she can. Dr. Jung says it would be impossible for her to give up her coffee. When asked how she would define "Awesome Care", she responded, "To care for patients like I would care for my own family and friends."

Dr. Egbujor attended City University of New York, York College in 2000. She also attended Albany Medical College in 2006 and University of Florida/HSC Pediatric.
She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She enjoys singing, dancing, riding bicycles and tennis. She feels the most important thing to relay to her patients is educating parents, and communicating information effectively about the patient's condition.

Dr. Madadi went to Medical School at M.G.M Medical College, graduating in 1977. She completed her Residency in New York in 1999.
When asked what brought her down the path of healthcare she responded that she was inspired by her Father, who “was a great Physician”.
She feels her patients would describe her as thorough, warm and caring. She is excited about caring for children. It makes her day when a patient comes back for a follow up feeling all better, and give her a warm smile and a hug.
Dr. Madadi grew up in India, and worked on three continents, before getting to Jacksonville. She enjoys gardening and going for long walks. Dr. Madadi likes to keep in touch with her family and friends, and would find it impossible to give that up.

Dr. Warren joined Family Care Partners in 2004, opened the FCP Argyle Division in 2006, and is now at our Fleming Island location as of late 2016. He is originally from South Carolina. Dr. Warren completed undergraduate training at The University of Florida and received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed residency training in Family Practice at the Naval Hospital Jacksonville and is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice. He also completed a fellowship in Faculty Development and research at The University of North Carolina. Dr. Warren is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a member of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.
Prior to joining Family Care Partners, Dr. Warren completed a 24-year career in the U.S. Navy, which included submarine duty and overseas duty as well as hospital, clinic and teaching assignments. Dr. Warren and his family have been residents in the Orange Park area for over 22 years. He enjoys family related activities and close involvement with his children’s activities at school and outside of school.
Dr. Warren believes in a compassionate approach to the patient, a thorough evaluation of the medical problem and above all, a focus on prevention of disease before it occurs.

Dr. Green has been a part of the medical community in Jacksonville for well over 20 years with a majority of that time spent in and around the Beaches area of the city. He graduated in 1987 from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Originally a doctor for the U.S. Army, Dr. Green transitioned to private practice in the early 1990’s when he made Jacksonville his home. He has worked as both a solo practitioner and the member of several group practices throughout the years. Along the way he has served in a multitude of director and advisory roles for healthcare facilities and services ranging from hospital focused entities to nursing homes and home health agencies.
When asked what brought him down the path of medicine his response was: “I came from a “medical family” and was exposed to the practice of medicine at a very young age. With firsthand knowledge of the profession I always knew I was destined to be a physician.” He feels the best part of his profession is being able to discuss with his patients the personal details of their past medical history and providing them alternative options for improving their health.
He believes that his patients would appreciate his calm demeanor, his thorough explanations of their problems, and his caring bedside manner.
He grew up in Philadelphia, PA and enjoyed summers at the New Jersey Seashore. After his discharge from the US Army Medical Corps he decided he wanted to live “at the beach” year round. Jacksonville afforded him the opportunity to do so!
In his free time Dr. Green can be found spending leisure time with his wife, daughters, grandson, and dog Lucy. In addition to that, he is an avid surfer and gardener.

Mrs. Johnson has been working in Healthcare for over 20 years. Beginning her career in the Nurse Corps for the United States Navy. She later completed her Master’s degree in 2005 at University of Florida, becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
When asked what brought her down the path of healthcare her response was: “Served in US Navy as a corpsman and later as a line officer. After that worked as Nurse Corps for over 14 years before retiring and working in the community of Jacksonville with adolescents and primary care.” What excites her about her work is the patients that you see, and helping them improve their health or assisting them connect with services that will improve their health and well-being that gives her the most joy.
She believes that her patients would say that she is caring, compassionate, patient, thorough and very flexible. She wants to get to know her patients and assist not only with acute concerns but assist and care with other supportive needs if possible.
She grew up in Johnstown, PA; she got to Jacksonville in 1982, and has been back and forth in the military until retirement in 2009. Volunteering passions include being an Assistant Soccer coach and church activities and events.

Gerardo Montanez Galvis, APRN is a nursing (nurse practitioner) provider who practices in Jacksonville, FL. He graduated with honors in 2011.

Ms. McDonough was a registered nurse working in Healthcare for 11 years before graduating from Jacksonville University in 2018 with her APRN.
When asked how she arrived at practicing medicine, her response was: “My Mother worked in healthcare, I grew up around nurses and just knew nursing was my path.” As to what brought her to our ERgent Care Center, she states “After graduation, I had a want for the urgent care setting, Family Care Partners is my Primary Care Provider, I know firsthand the excellent care that is provided.”
Originally from Silver Spring MD, Ms. McDonough moved to Jacksonville for Grad School, and to be closer to her family. One of her favorite things to do on her time off is hang out with her two beautiful nieces, and is crazy about volunteering for ANY Veteran’s Organization.
She enjoys hearing her patient’s stories, and thrives on making her patients laugh, be happy, and feel better. When asked to define “Awesome Care” she states: “Awesome Care is when the patient has the knowledge, you provided to them, about his/her condition and feels confident and fulfilled at the end of their visit.”

Mr. Parawan has been working as an APRN since graduating in 2006 from the University of North Florida, and he has been a part of the FCP family that entire time! A Registered Nurse for 15 years prior, Ron has extensive background in Med-Surg and Gerontology.
When asked what brought him down the path of healthcare his response was: “I grew up in a family of healthcare providers, so I was heavily influenced by my upbringing.” He finds it exciting to see the difference he makes in his patient’s lives, when he can see them become healthier both mentally and physically.
He grew up in the Philippines, but has spent most of his adult life here in Jacksonville. When he isn’t working you can usually find him playing tennis out on the courts. He is an avid learner and would never be able to give up the ability to keep learning! He feels it is imperative as a healthcare provider to keep up with the times in terms of the most up to date and latest trends.

Mrs. Mebane has been working in the nursing profession for 15 years. When asked what brought her down the path of healthcare, she stated that she is innately a nurturer. It was always her goal, even as a young girl, to go into a healthcare profession. She found her years of experience as a nurse extremely rewarding, but desired to do more and to have a greater impact on the overall health of individuals. She went back to school, and in 2018 graduated from South University becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
Being in a position to help patients reach realistic health goals is the part of her career which excites her most. She believes that her patients would say that she is respectful, compassionate, calm, and competent.
Mrs. Mebane is originally from New York, and moved to Jacksonville with her family as a child. When she isn’t working you will find her spending time with her husband and children. Weekends are usually spent checking out local music festivals, markets or other fun activities around our city, with her family. She enjoys educating the youth and adolescents in the community about healthy lifestyle choices, and has had the opportunity to do so with several after school programs in Duval County.

Mr. Leffelman has been working in Healthcare for 44 years graduating in 1982 from the College of Lake County in Illinois with his first nursing degree. He later completed his Master’s degree in 1994 at the University of North Carolina, becoming an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
When asked what brought him down the path of healthcare his response was: “I volunteered to enlist into the US Navy in 1973. As desired, I was assigned a billet as a Navy corpsman as I always had a passion to help people. After my enlistment ended, I obtained an associates nursing degree. While working as a nurse, I continued my education obtaining my BS degree in 1982. I then decided to re-enlist as a naval officer and proudly served my country for 26 years as a nurse and family nurse practitioner. My last duty assignment was at the Naval Hospital Jacksonville in the Family Practice Department.” What excites him about his work is having a patient that works with the healthcare provider as a team mate. His goal is to discuss and affirm commitment of the patient with my/our plan of care in the improving and enhancing his/her future quality of health and life.
He believes that his patients would say that he is a good listener, a good care provider, and a good teacher.
He grew up on a large farm in northern Illinois. After retiring from the Navy in 2004 he remained in Jacksonville.
When he isn’t working you will find him going to antique shows, working in the yard, and taking care of his two pet geese. He also enjoys camping and hiking.

Born and raised on the west side of Jacksonville, Ms. Aulisi worked in as a nurse in Healthcare for 11 years, before graduating as a Nurse Practitioner in 2008 from South University.
We asked what brought her down the path of healthcare her response was: “My best subject in school was always science. Growing up, my
grandmother battled cancer more than once and spent a great amount of time in hospitals for various ailments. I always was fascinated by the doctors and nurses and everything going on in the hospital."
She's most excited when her patient's see positive changes in their health. "When they're excited, I'm excited, and that's a great feeling knowing I helped contribute to their health and wellness." Ms. Aulisi says her patients always tell her that she is a very good listener and they feel that she is a very caring individual.
When she's not working she likes to travel. She loves Walt Disney World, and on Sundays she enjoys outings with friends or catching up on Netflix when the weather is bad.
When asked to define Awesome Care Ms. Aulisi replied, “Awesome care to me is knowing that I have provided the best care that I can to all of my
patients, and when my patients tell me how much they appreciate my care and candor.”

Ms. Jackson has been working in Healthcare for 9 years. She attended Chamberlain University, and completed her degree in 2019, becoming a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
When asked what brought her down the path of healthcare her response was: “As a high school student, I always wanted to be a nurse. At 23, I was working as an RN on a post-surgical floor. The relationships that I developed by being a part of the process to rehab, inspired me to continue my education, and influence my patients to improve their health.
She says her patients always say she is caring, thoughtful, understanding, and energetic. She is most excited about being a part of the team, to encourage and influence patients to improve their health, and to witness the enhanced status of that patient’s health.
Ms. Jackson was born and raised right here in Jacksonville, FL. When she isn’t working, she says her weekends are spent with her family watching the Jacksonville Jaguars play. Spending time with her family means so much to her, and she would find that impossible to give up.
She enjoys volunteering, and recalls fondly a particular time when she assisted the AHA with their diabetes camp for kids called Camp JADA. She truly enjoyed the experience of interacting with the kids, and educating them about their disease

Also Awesome Care involves patient centered are with a mutual goal to achieve positive patient outcomes”

Christina Sellers, ARNP
Ms. Sellers has been working in Healthcare for 22 years, graduating in 2019 with her APRN from South University.
When asked what brought her down the path of healthcare her response was: “When I graduated high school, I worked with Family Care Partners of Arlington. I then worked at Shands, and Baptist Beaches hospital, both in patient care. In my early 20’s, I obtained my massage therapist license and worked for multiple chiropractors. In 2014, I began my nursing career, while furthering my education to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
She believes her patients can tell she cares through her ability to listen and think out of the box for different solutions. She enjoys educating her patients, helping them understand and encouraging them to be part of their healthcare choices by giving her patients options, plans, and goals. Ms. Sellers is excited by helping others and creating positive experiences. She enjoys being part of the patient’s journey to a healthy and happy future. When goals are planned, executed and achieved, I love to celebrate this triumph with the patient. I hope to contribute a listening ear, open mind, compassionate heart, and positive presence.
She was born and raised in Jacksonville, and loves to volunteer with the geriatric community. Ms. Sellers says it would be impossible for her to give up her faith. She states, “My moral foundation begins and ends within my faith and how I was raised.” When she isn’t working you will find her with her at home with her children. They are her reason to smile. Where she spends her weekends depends on her mood, she’s not a planner per se, she just likes to go with the flow of life.
“As a nurse, I cared for every patient as if they were my family, and would always put into perspective how I would want them treated. As a Nurse Practitioner, this has not changed. Treating every patient as an individual and not treating with “blanket Medicine”. We are all made differently, what works for you may not work for all. Being open to all avenues of medicine (holistic and pharmaceutical) will enhance lives.” This is how she defines Awesome Care.

Lauren Bonner is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University. She worked in an emergency room for 9 years as an RN before graduating from Florida Atlantic University in 2018 as a nurse practitioner, and coming to our ERgent care.
When asked what brought her down the path of healthcare her response was: "I come from a family of nurses and enjoy the mixture of science and personal interaction that a career in medicine provided." She loves working with patients of all ages, and having the opportunity to educate and empower them to feel confident in their health.
Mrs. Bonner grew up in West Palm Beach FL and moved to Jacksonville in 2016. When she isn’t working she is likely to be found at the beach with her husband and daughter.
When asked to define "Awesome Care" she states: "Awesome care is when a patient leaves feeling satisfied and?@empowered to make good choices about their health."
Nurse Practioner

Ms. Barile has been working in Healthcare for 9 years. She attended South University, and completed her degree in 2020, becoming a Board Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
When asked what brought her down the path of healthcare her response was: “I began my career with medicine after choosing it over a sociology major in college; deciding caring for was much more productive way of studying people rather than the latter. I am a people person, I enjoy working with them and desire conversation and interaction in order to fuel my drive to be the best provider I can be.
She says her patients always say she listens to them, and make them feel important. She is most excited about challenging myself clinically to further develop my knowledge base and skill set is an ambition, she is excited to get started and I feels she can use that to add to the quality of care FCP already provides.
Ms. Barile was born and raised in Tifton, and moved to Jacksonville in April 2020. When she isn’t working, she says you can usually find her at the gym, or with her dog outdoors somewhere - perhaps traveling when the pandemic is over. We asked her what it would be impossible for her to give up, her response…”CHEESE!”

Physician Assistant David Stogin believes that treating the person rather than the symptom is the best part of his job. "I have had 20 years of experience working hand in hand with doctors and I really love what I do." His relaxed personality and comfort with his expertise makes him a perfect addition to the Northside practice.
Mr. Stogin, a native of the Midwest, moved to Florida on his wife's suggestion that they retire in Florida. "She had always followed me in my career, so it was her turn to decide where we would go next. She wanted somewhere warm." After many cold winters in Nebraska, Mr. Stogin moved to Florida and joined Family Care Partners.
A six year veteran of the military, Stogin has experienced a little bit of everything including emergency medicine, surgery, orthopedic surgery and internal medicine.
Physician Assistant

Ms. McLean has been working in Healthcare for 2 years, graduating in 2018 from Nova Southeastern University.
When asked what brought her down the path of healthcare she responded: "I’ve always loved science and helping people. Medicine seemed like the perfect path for me." She started as an EMT while living in Orlando, and decided to advance her training and become a Physician Assistant.
She believes her patients would say she is compassionate, caring, and a good listener through and through. She wants her patients to feel comfortable talking to her about their medical problems, so that she may help them as best she can.
When not working you can usually find her at the dog park, exploring the outdoors, or reading a good book. She also loves trying out new restaurants.
Ms. McLean grew up in France, moved to the U.S. in 2008, and has been in Jacksonville since 2015. When asked to define "Awesome Care" she sums it up as: "Listening to each patient and individualizing their care, in order to provide the best care possible."

Mr. Beatty has been working in Healthcare since graduating from Nova Southeastern University in 2014.
When asked what brought him down the path of healthcare his response was: “I’ve always had an interest in biology and how the body works. Medicine affords the opportunity to combine that interest with a career centered on helping others.
He believes that his patients would say that he is caring, thorough, and takes the time to listen to their concerns so he can help them to the best of his ability.
He grew up in Antioch, Illinois and moved to Jacksonville in 2010. When he isn’t working you can usually find him at the beach or local coffee shop enjoying a good book.

Mrs. Trzasko has been working in Healthcare for 15 years graduating in 2009 from Towson.
When asked what brought her down the path of healthcare her response was: “I always wanted to work in healthcare. The Physician Assistant’s role is great because I can provide comprehensive care and treatment for patients of all ages with any sort of ailment.”
She believes that her patients would say that she listens intently to their needs. That she is a compassionate and thorough individual who is willing to spend a lot of time with them to meet the needs of their care.
She is originally from Tampa, but did her undergrad work in Richmond, Virginia, in addition to grad school in the Washington DC/Baltimore area. Her husband was transferred here for work in mid-2013 and they really enjoy the area.
When she isn’t working you can usually find her on the beach or spending time with her new family whenever possible.
When asked to define “Awesome Care” she states: “Awesome Care is that the patient feels their needs have been met and they feel like they are truly in good hands.”

Mrs. Allison Hentkoski, PA-C attended Nova Southeastern University, graduating in 2015.
When asked what brought her down the path of healthcare her response was: “My passion for medicine began early in my childhood when my parents were both diagnosed with cancer. Their courage and bravery, as well as their endless support from medical professionals was overwhelming. I knew as a child I wanted to help people like my parents.” What excites her the most is being able to form new relationships with people. Patients often present vulnerable and anxious so it is an honor to be able to provide support, trust, and a helping hand.
She believes that her patients would say that she is a good listener. To fully treat a patient she believes it is imperative to understand their perspective and their story.
Mrs. Hentkoski grew up in South Florida before she headed north to Jacksonville. She also likes to volunteer by participating in Dance Marathons benefiting the Children’s Miracle Network. She was a 3 year dancer at FSU and says it’s a great organization for an even greater cause.
When she isn’t working you can usually find her out for a run or kicking back poolside. Mrs. Hentkoski is also a foodie who loves to experience new restaurants.
When asked to define “Awesome Care” she states: “To me, Awesome Care translates to personalized care. It is important to treat people and not numbers. To be awesome you have to cater to the individual needs of each patient and find a treatment plan that works best for them.”

Mr. Mullaney is a new 2020 graduate from Nova Southeastern University.
When asked what brought him down the path of healthcare his response was: “I had a wonderful relationship with my family care provider. I want to use my passion for the sciences and helping people to have a similar relationship with all of my patients.”
He believes that his patients say he is genuinely concerned with their well-being. They say he is a great listener, and that he is eager to know them beyond their medical needs.
Mr. Mullaney was born and raised here in Jacksonville, FL; and is crazy about volunteering at the local soup kitchens and various church events. When he isn’t working he is likely to be found with his large family; either fishing, eating together, or hiking with their dogs.
When asked to define “Awesome Care” he states: “Awesome Care begins with greeting patients with a smile, listening to their concerns, showing empathy, and treating the patient so they are confident that they received the best care possible.”

Ms. Fellis has been graduated in 2020 from Nova Southeastern University – Fort Myers, and worked 2.5 years as a CNA and 2.5 years as a pediatric medical assistant before entering PA school. She was born in St. Augustine, FL and moved to Jacksonville in 2009 for college at UNF.
When asked what brought her down the path of healthcare Ms. Fellis’ response was: “I was diagnosed with spina bifida occulta when I was 16. I had surgery and the pediatrician who was with me was amazing, which made me want to help others like he helped me.
Ms. Fellis believes her patients would say that she is caring, compassionate, and a good listener. What most excites her most about her work and the contribution she can make is that medicine is like a puzzle. It is fun to put the pieces together and help patients live a healthier, happier life.
When she isn’t working she enjoys dancing, going to the gym, and spending time with friends and family, and would find it impossible to give up chocolate! Almost every year since high school, Ms. Fellis has helped out with Firefighters for Families in St. Augustine during Christmas.
