Ralph M. Boone, D.O., brought his extensive experience to our Northside office in 2000. A native of Galesburg, Illinois, Dr. Boone has practiced in the Jacksonville area for thirty years. His interest in Family Medicine arose from his desire to help people and "treat the whole person."

Dr. Boone earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University in 1966. He graduated from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1970, and completed his training at Normandy Osteopathic Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. He is Board certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and is the former Chief of Staff at Baptist Medical Center - Beaches. He has also held administrative positions at St. Luke's Hospital and has chaired the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee for an insurance company. Dr. Boone is also active in professional societies at the local, state, and national level.

Dr. Boone is involved in community activities as well, participating in Kiwanis and Masons. In his spare time, Dr. Boone may be found spending time with his wife, golfing, or boating. Through his self-described "relaxed" practice style, he works with his patients to help them develop the discipline to change poor habits and improve their health outlook.
