Dr. Kedra Fields Williams is another Jacksonville native who felt strongly about returning to the area where she was born and raised. After undergraduate work at FSU, she headed south to attend medical school at Ross University in the Caribbean.

Although her first love in medicine was pediatrics, she was urged during medical school to pursue family practice because she was so good at working with adults. "Currently I enjoy working with adolescent and adult patients," she says. "I like to try and help parents encourage young adults to make a difference in their lives."

Married to her high school sweetheart, Ty, for the past ten years, Dr. Fields Williams has a 6-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son who keep her busy. The family enjoys watching sports together, especially football and basketball, and of course spending time with extended family.
