As he describes his practice, family medicine offers Julius A. Gorospe, M.D., the opportunity to perform the work of an internist, surgeon, gynecologist, psychiatrist, and orthopedic doctor while maintaining the continuity of care enjoyed by a primary physician.
Dr. Gorospe is a Jacksonville native, having attended Bishop Kenny High School before graduating from Wake Forest University in North Carolina. He received his medical degree from University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Medical Center in the Philippines, and returned to Jacksonville for his residency training in family medicine at University Medical Center.
After completing his training, Dr. Gorospe worked at the University Community Health Center for 1 and a half years before joining the Family Care Center of Arlington in 1998.
Dr. Gorospe has a personal commitment to fitness and is an avid triathlete. He also enjoys travel and spending time with friends and family. He works to inspire his patients to make positive changes in their health habits and to improve their understanding of their own health issues.
