Genola C. Childs, M.D. joined Family Care Partners in February 2007. Previously, Dr. Childs served as a military physician in the Internal Medicine department at Naval Hospital Jacksonville until her obligated service was completed in December 2006.

Dr. Childs completed her Internal Medicine internship at Orlando Regional Healthcare Center and Internal Medicine residency at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center. After graduating from Clark Atlanta University, Dr. Childs entered and completed the MD/MPH dual degree program at Boston University School of Medicine & Boston University School of Public Health in 1997. During her navy career, Dr. Childs has toured Naval Air Weapons Station in China Lake, CA; Portsmouth Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA; Naval Air Station Hospital in Jacksonville, FL, and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Dr. Childs, an internist, provides comprehensive care addressing a wide range of conditions, from common colds to diabetes, for patients at least 16 years of age.
